Complexity — Engineered into Clarity

Approach
Engineering regulatory requirements into workable solutions.
Regulation establishes the requirements. Regulatory Engineering determines how those requirements can be applied to the actual product, information and intended market.
RECS researches the applicable regulatory position, interprets what it means in context and engineers practical solutions around the product and its commercial objectives. The aim is not simply to identify whether something complies. It is to establish what is required, what needs to change and how the product can progress towards market readiness.
REQUIREMENTS → INTERPRETATION → ENGINEERING → WORKABLE SOLUTION
Scope
Regulatory Engineering across the product information system.
Classification
Establishing the regulatory identity of the product and the requirements that follow from it.
Information Engineering
Engineering mandatory information, ingredients, allergens, nutrition, claims and other required particulars.
Label & Artwork
Translating regulatory requirements into workable front, rear and wrap-around label architecture without unnecessarily compromising creative intent.
Market Readiness
Coordinating evidence, artwork development, assessment and refinement towards an established launch position.
Products
Engineering Labels Across Food & Drink
Food
Prepared foods · ingredients · snacks · confectionery · specialist products
Drinks
Soft drinks · functional beverages · juices · adult alternatives · alcohol-free products
Pathway
From regulatory position to market-ready execution.
RECS ENGINEERING → ENGINEERED POSITION → INDEPENDENT ASSESSMENT → FINDINGS → RECS REFINEMENT
Assessment
Independent Regulatory Assessment
Independent challenge strengthens the engineered position.
Regulatory Engineering and independent regulatory assessment perform different functions. RECS researches, interprets and engineers the regulatory position; where appropriate, independent assessment provides separate challenge and evaluation. Findings are then resolved through the RECS engineering process before the project progresses towards completion.
Engineering creates the solution. Independent assessment challenges it.
Outputs
What You Receive
Readiness
A defined starting position identifying what is known, what requires resolution and what engineering is needed.
Engineering
Structured requirements, recommendations and project outputs appropriate to the agreed scope.
Go For Launch
A final project record establishing the engineered position, completed work and any responsibilities or conditions that remain.
The objective is not more documentation. It is better-controlled information.
Pricing
Project pricing built around the engineering required.
Products do not arrive with identical regulatory positions, evidence or artwork. RECS therefore scopes projects around the engineering required, while providing clear starting prices for defined project stages.Scope and cost are established before engineering begins.
